Mier, raised in Shanghai and Phoenix within an artistic family, resides in New York City. Holding a BFA in Environmental Design and Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, she began crafting porcelain jewelry in 2012 during her college years and has been selling them ever since.
Utilizing porcelain clay, fired at temperatures exceeding 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, and accentuated with 22k gold, she assembles her creations with gold-filled hardware in her NYC studio.
