Mia Zhou is an interdisciplinary artist based in San Francisco. Born in Jiangsu, China, she studied at the University of Alberta Canada, where she earned a bachelor's degree in painting, in 2019. That same year she studied ceramics in Shanghai and Jingdezhen, China. She then moved to the United States to study ceramics at the California College of the Arts, where she received a Master of Fine Arts degree. Guided by her multicultural background Zhou says, "I blend Eastern and Western aesthetics in my artwork and am inspired by the vibrant landscapes of California.
