If you can visualize it, together, we can build it! The purpose of this intermdieate through advanced sculpting class is to assist and meet each student's goals for producing a highly crafted sculpture. Come to class with your ideas and sketchbook, so that you can build the sculpture of your choice. Students work independantly in addition to the personal attention with the instructor. Students need to be responsible for bringing in their own carts and dollies if they plan to make large scale sculpture. Mandatory clean up day the last week for all students.

COST INCLUDES: One 25lb bag of house clay, instruction, studio membership and museum membership during the length of the class. Students are responsible for purchasing clay through the studio's store. Clay cost includes firing fees, wax, studio stains, and cone 10 glazes. NO OUTSIDE CLAY ALLOWED.

About Gary: Gary's experience as a professional artist spans over thirty-seven years. Hand building and sculpting in ceramics is the most prolific medium in which he works. He truly enjoys working in the round and how the clay is mallable and easily manipulated in the wet stage. Gary has been teaching at AMOCA Ceramics studio for over five years.
