This course is for intermediate students who want to learn how to make and improve their functional tableware on the potter’s wheel. Students should already understand the importance of wedging clay, centering, and the steps to create cylinders, cups, and bowl forms. Finishing techniques including trimming, adding handles, will be taught and practiced throughout this session. We will also cover basic glazing and surface techniques.
