In this class we will learn how to take our creations from a drawing on paper to creating them out of clay! Projects will incorporate a variety of basic hand building techniques - pinch, coil and slab. Then we will explore the current AMOCA exhibition and discuss the use of form and symbolic objects to tell a story - Artists will incorporate these ideas into their work with an emphasis on self expression and use of symbolism. The last class will involve a critique and potluck. Artists are asked to bring a sketchbook, their ideas, and positive attitude!
