Growing up in South Korea, she earned her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Ceramic Arts and Craft from Seoul National University. She creates porcelain containers focusing on the fundamentals using repetitive hand motions and the wheel to achieve objects with simple form and mind. This interpretation supports a balance between objects to be viewed and objects to be touched and firmly expresses its spiritual and symbolic traits.
