This book honors the sculptural achievement of Aldo Casanova, who taught sculpture for more than thirty years at Scripps College, in Claremont, California. Mr. Casanova’s works are in major public and private collections and have won the recognition of his peers. Recipient of a Rome Prize Fellowship in Sculpture, Mr. Casanova was elected in 1992 to the National Academy of Design, and in 1994 was made a Fellow of the National Sculpture Society. During his career at Scripps, he inspired many artists, who are now practicing sculptors. This book pays tribute to his life as an artist and his legacy as a teacher.
